My favorite football player of all-time is Terrell Owens. Now as good as T.O. was on the field, he was even a bigger distraction off of it. I mean how does a guy that is 8th all-time in receptions, 3rd all time in receiving yards, and 3rd all-time in receiving touchdowns have to play for 6 NFL teams and 1 IFL (Indoor Football League) team? Because he was a terrible teammate. His teammates knew T.O. was going to get his stats, and be happy regardless of the outcome on the scoreboard. Not to mention how he tried to show up the NFL Hall of Fame this past offseason with not attend the award ceremony, but I have to defend my guy. No doubt T.O. should've been a first-ballot HOFer, the dude was just about unstoppable...…..until he arrived in Buffalo. Nevertheless, when he finished his career, he was only behind Jerry Rice receiving yards and touchdowns. Yet it took him 3 years to get into the all of fame??? BANANAS
By now you're asking yourself "what the hell does a dude who retired 8 years ago have to do with AB?". Well the answer to that is, until Week 17 of the 2018-2019 NFL season, Terrell Owens was the worst teammate in the history of the NFL, but not anymore.
According to reports, Brown and Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger had an argument over a certain way Brown ran a route during a Week 17 walk through. I'm sure this exact incident has happened on many teams before, with the grind of an 16 game schedule, and Pittsburgh's playoff hopes out of their own hands, I'm sure tensions were high to start with. But, it doesn't help that you have two egomaniacs going at each other, neither will ever admit they were wrong or apologize first.
Apparently after this argument, Brown threw a ball at Ben's feet and proceeded to leave practice. This altercation led to Brown not showing up for practice the rest of the week. Although he arrived at Heinz Field on Sunday ready to take on the Cincinnati Bengals, yet he did not play, and left the stadium at half time.
Brown has since requested a trade and responded to a fan's question about the star wide receiver's relationship to Big Ben on twitter by saying:
"(Ben Roethlisberger) has a owner like mentality like he can call out anybody including coaches. Players know but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone. It’s a dirty game within a game."

Look for Brown to be traded before March 17th as he has a $2.5 million roster bonus due to him on that day.
Trading AB sounds like an easy thing on paper, he has been the most productive receiver of the past 6 seasons, but during just under a 10 minute Instragram live video on Monday, Brown stated "If your team got guaranteed money, they want to get to know me and work with me, tell them to call me". This possibly limits the Steelers' trade targets because he is admitting he does not care about championships, yet he rather get a lofty guaranteed-money contract and not take a small pay cut to help the team. Also his growing reputation as the league's worst teammate doesn't help.
Along with losing star RB Le'Veon Bell all of last season and now probably losing him to free agency, Brown is on the outs as well. 1 year ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers had two players in the top 5 of the NFL Networks TOP 100 players. Now they might not have one top 30 player. All Steeler Nation can do is #CallGod.
